Hayes Mansion San Jose, Curio Collection by Hilton

San Jose, CA

In 1903, California architect George Page was commissioned by Mary Hayes Chynoweth, to build a home for the Hayes Family. Intended to provide a triple residence for the Chynoweths and growing families of Mary's two sons, Everis Hayes and Jay Orly Hayes, the sprawling mansion incorporated every modern amenity available, including the latest fire safety features of the era.
