The Lodge at Nemacolin

The Lodge at Nemacolin was originally established as the hunting retreat for Pittsburgh-based business magnate, Colonel Willard F. Rockwell. Completed in 1968,TheLodge quickly became a popular outdoor destination among Rockwell’s friends due to its abundance of wild game and fresh fish in the majestic Laurel Highlands mountains. The Lodge later became a convention center when the Colonel sold the location in 1979. Debuting as The Lodge at Nemacolin during the late 1980s,this lovely hotel has attracted countless guests with its bucolic charm ever since. Signature pieces of artwork from the Hardy Family Art Collection appear throughout The Lodge at Nemacolin.
